Healing for Gordon Casadei
Submitted by: Sheila Hamilton		We’ve gotten bad news about Casadei’s health. Most of you know he only has one kidney – we learned last night that he has a 7 centimeter tumor (2 3/4 ins.) in his kidney. It has taken over & traveled up into the vena cava vein. Dr. does not think it has gone to the lungs or liver. Will do MRI & chest Xray on Friday to this check out. He has no options – Casadei has chosen to have the kidney removed & live on dialysis for the rest of his life. If nothing is done he may have 6 months to live – you all know this man will fight to the end for life. He knows this life as he lived it w/ his daughter when he gave her his kidney in 1977. We go back to the Dr. Sept. 28th for follow up on MRI then will know more about the surgery date. The Dr. made him feel good when he said he has a body of a 60 yr. old man & gave him a 90% chance of coming off the operating table. I’m proud to tell you that he accepted Christ & was baptized in 2009. This is a journey that I had prayed Casadei would not have to be on but I’m grateful that I’ve been chosen to journey with him. 10-17-2011
